From Spring through Fall 2024, the Township will be re-grading and re-planting the Park’s stream bank with native plants. This work will help to bring the Township into compliance with Pennsylvania environmental regulations intended to reduce water pollution from stormwater runoff.
The entire upper trail of the Park will remain open for people and off-leash dogs throughout the re-grading and re-planting process. Stream access will usually be available when work is not in progress (after 4:00 p.m. or on weekends.) As sections of the work are completed, stream access during work hours may also become available. The work will likely last from now through the Fall. Please respect the fencing and keep the newly regraded/replanted areas free of foot traffic by dogs or people. This is essential for the success of the project.
